When ever one reads an article about making easy money online somewhere you’ll find a statement to the effect that you can run your home based online business on auto pilot. This sounds great except for the fact that running a business or any thing for that matter on auto pilot need for the auto pilot to be set up correctly or even more important running it on a state of the art auto pilot. What I mean by this is that if we refer to an auto pilot usually we think about an airplane or ship running all by itself while the captain or who ever is in control simply monitors the progress.
Let’s relate this whole concept to aircraft for a moment. Let’s compare a world war two airplane running on an auto pilot to the newest airliner running on today’s technology auto pilot. You can’t compare the two will be the general consensus I presume. Quite correctly so because as with aircraft, technology has evolved but the same with your online money making internet business. What do I mean by this statement? Once you have set up your website or whatever system you have in place to make money online you cannot leave it indefinitely and sit back and hope that the money will roll in. As with any auto pilot system it needs to be monitored constantly to see if it doesn’t deviate from the programmed route. How can you relate that to your online business? It doesn’t help you loose touch with what’s happening in the industry or which products are no longer successful so you constantly need to monitor the programmed route of your auto pilot.
I am not suggesting that you have to sit nailed to your computer 24 hours a day but being in an industry that changes by the day if not by the hour you need to have finger on pulse like they say. In other words one needs to set up your auto pilot properly. Now setting your auto pilot up is maybe not as easy as it seems and this fact is not always mentioned in the sales pitch letters of all the online money making products. Yes I do acknowledge the fact that putting the statement that it’s not going to be easy in your sales letter is silly but I think this fact must be taken into account when starting your online business. I have no doubt that every successful internet business started on the foundation of hard work but the general perception might be totally the opposite.
A lot of people might disagree with me or laugh in their sleeves because they’ve made money with little effort but I do believe that most of these people started off slaving in front of the computer following some system until they found a loop hole or discovered some genius method that required little or no effort.
Running an online money business on auto pilot is not as easy as the words suggest and requires effort and more importantly perseverance and maybe in a sense luck. Setting your auto pilot up and keeping it in good running order and also making sure your autopilot keeps up with technology are all factors to consider when running or thinking to start an internet based home money making business.
